HISTORICAL SKETCH
St. Bernadette of Lourdes College, in West Fairview Quezon City, is founded by a family of professional and educationally qualified healthcare providers on February 12, 2003, the feast day of St. Bernadette. Guided by the Gospels of values, the College was named after St. Bernadette of Lourdes who devoted all her tasks in hospital and in teaching small children. She has gained the complete confidence of her calm and gentle disposition, as she attended to her duties with considerable intelligence.

COLLEGE SEAL
The College seal represents the Immaculate Conception as she appeared to girl, Bernadette of Lourdes. St. Bernadette is best remembered for her dedication in the care of the sick and in teaching young children in her calm and gentle way.
The eternal flame symbolizes the light of the world as it fights against the darkness of ignorance, poverty, and illness.

The lamp is symbolic of Florence Nightingale, the epitome of an excellent nurse and the lamp she carried as she walked through the dark corridors of the hospital where the wounded soldiers lay during the Crimean war.
​
This lamp also represents the light nurses carry in their minds, in their hearts and in their hands in the daily task of caring for people they have pledged to serve to make this world a better place to live in.
The college believe in the fullest development of the students' intellect, physical, emotional, spiritual and social well being to have the knowledge, skills and attitudes of excellent nurses, upholding the ideals of passionate and committed nursing care.
